This week in English, Year 2 have been learning how to use contractions. They mastered the skill of identifying the words that each contraction was made up of, e.g. it is - it's, and applied each to their own sentences.

In Science, we began to learn about plants and their life cycle. We planted our own seeds and bulbs and made predictions about which we thought would grow the most successfully. We will keep you posted!

We have been investigating wheels on vehicles ahead of us planning and designing cars of our own in DT to carry the eggs Mr Fox steals from the chicken farm.
