On a hot Tuesday afternoon this week, a number of our Year 3 children represented the school at the area athletics event held at King's High School.  All the children who attended were great ambassadors for the school and gave their best performances.  Many thanks to the parents for taking them to the event and for cheering everyone on.

On Friday, Year 3 took part in the whole school Francophone Day.  The children celebrated the many countries that have French as their main language by dressing up either as an artist or in a costume representing a French-speaking country.  The children also learnt about the artist, Anais Verspan who comes from Guadeloupe.  The children looked at her artwork (which is based on the colours of nature) and were inspired to create their own paintings using her style.
