Coten End Primary School
Week Beginning 23.6.25
At the end of last week, Coten End was alive with French sights, smells and sounds! The whole school threw themselves into celebrating Francophone Day and it was great to see such enthusiasm across the board.
In Year 4, we were inspired by French speaking street artists Kid Creole and Boogie from Reunion Island. Over the week, we studied a French poem about the island and studied the artists and their techniques. The children then applied their learning to create some beautifully presented poems and creative artwork, which they look forward to sharing with everyone at the Francophone exhibition on Friday 27th after school. Here's a sneaky peak at some of the wonderful work that has been created.
