While some of year 3 were busy representing us at Young Voices last Friday, the rest of the children created some super Spanish art. Using collage, they made the Spanish flag and then chose a bull silhouette to stick on top. The final result is really effective, as I'm sure you can see!

We have also enjoyed our learning about forces this week. Testing which materials create the most friction and working together to record the results. The children enjoyed carrying out the experiment.

Finally, Madame Allison has been teaching the children the different sounds that vowels make in French. A really challenging task, but they did brilliantly at identifying the different sounds, focussing on the days of the week. 

We are finishing out unit on time this week and also writing our travel guides for Spain. They have really enjoyed learning about Spanish culture and cities so we look forward to reading their work. Well done Year 3 on another week of super learning.
