Coten End Primary School

Week beginning 2nd March

We have continued our learning for our new theme and are reading the story Tyrannosaurus Drip over the next couple of weeks. The children had to write a letter to the character from the Adviceosaurus. Poor T-Drip has found himself in the wrong family and needed some help! The children thought carefully about the advice they gave and had some good solutions for him.

In Maths, we have moved onto to learning about measuring lengths and looking at metres, centimetres and millimetres. They have made a good start and are getting to grips with reading the measurements accurately.

In our other topics, we are busy learning about the different rock types in Science and started to think about how to make art and design using inspiration from nature. We look forward to seeing what the children design in the coming weeks.
