In RE this week, Year 3 have been learning about Ummah and how it is practised.  We also linked Ummah to our work on reconciliation and looked at the Qur'an and read what it says about reconciliation.  To help their understanding, the children made boxes to show the 5 pillars of Islam.

In Design and Technology, we have been learning how to sew using a running stitch.  The children showed determination when threading their needles and took great care to make their stitches neat and even.

In PE, we started our Dance lessons with Suzanne.  The theme of the lessons will be Ancient Egypt to link with our Learning Theme next term.
