This week, our focus book was, 'The Very Hungry Catepillar' for the start of our new theme, " The Garden Adventure.' The children enjoyed sharing what they already know about mini-beasts and we examined different features of mini-beasts, including antennae, number of legs and wings.  The children also noticed that our tadpoles have started to grow legs.  In Maths our focus was subitising and doubles up to 10. In PE on Friday, we had our first athletics practice on the field, practising egg and spoon, hurdles and throwing javelins.
