nvestigators and Historians

We’ve been historians, scientists and mathematicians this week — all showing fantastic curiosity and collaboration! In history, we compared life in Athens and Sparta and had a brilliant debate about which would be the better place to live. The children showed great respect for different opinions and explained their ideas clearly and confidently.

In maths, we used number lines to order and compare 4-digit numbers, working together with care and determination to solve tricky problems. Everyone showed real perseverance and pride in their learning.

Our science investigation has been a big hit! We’ve been setting up an experiment to see how different liquids affect teeth, using eggshells as our model. The children worked responsibly to ensure everything was fair and safe — a perfect example of our school rules in action.

It’s been a week full of thoughtful discussion, teamwork and curiosity. We can’t wait to see the results of our experiment next week!
