Singing, Science and Super Stories!
This week in Year 4 has been all about creativity, courage and curiosity! We started by checking the results of our science investigation, which caused quite a few gasps and thoughtful discussions. The children showed real responsibility when handling materials and recording results — proper scientists in the making!
In music, our lessons as part of Warwick – A Singing Town have filled the classrooms with energy. The children have worked brilliantly in groups, showing true collaboration as they wrote their own song lyrics. Their ideas were fun, thoughtful and inspiring — we’re so proud of their confidence to perform and share.
In maths, we’ve been rounding numbers to the nearest 10, 100 and 1000, while in English, we’ve written our own Greek myths. The stories have been incredible — full of brave heroes and clever creatures. It took real determination to plan, edit and improve each piece of writing.
Everywhere we look, Year 4 are showing our school values — from the courage to try new things to the curiosity to ask “what if?”. What a week!
