Despite some very tired little minds and bodies, the children had a wonderful last week of half term. We sat with all of the children to see how many sounds they had learnt. What an amazing start to their reading journeys the children have had! We spent this week consolidating our existing sounds and continued to add to our bank of 'Tricky Words'. The children also furthered their understanding of how to keep themselves safe, through our 'Taking Care Project'. They had a super fun visit from Mother Goose and had some very messy fun with our pumpkins!

It has been an amazing start to their school life and we are very proud of how the children have settled into Reception, formed new friendships and absorbed so much knowledge in such a short period of time!
