What a Week!

Wow, what a week we have had as a country! Despite the exceptionally hot weather, Year 6 have worked unbelievably hard, staying calm, showing resilience and adapting brilliantly to the challenging conditions.

We have been especially impressed with the effort everyone has put into rehearsing for our end of year production, Oliver with a Twist. Even in the heat, Year 6 have continued to give their all, learning new songs, perfecting their acting and even mastering some new dances! Your enthusiasm and determination have been fantastic, and the show is really starting to come together.

We also continued our Culture Club Day artwork, creating beautiful designs inspired by Islamic geometric patterns. Using compasses and rulers carefully, we explored how repeating shapes and symmetry are used to create intricate patterns. It has been wonderful to see how every piece is unique, with each pupil adding their own creative touch. The finished masterpieces are a real credit to the patience, precision and artistic flair shown by Year 6.
