This week we were learning about Mass in Maths and read the story, "Who Sank the Boat?" Some of us made boats using recycling materials and seeing how many care bears we could add to the boat before it leaked or sank. We also investigated the capacity of different containers using dry macaroni.  

In Drawing Club, we did some drawing and writing linked to the story, "Whatever Next." We also acted out the story using cardboard boxes for the space rocket. We talked about the vocabulary, " companion, location and soar."   We also made our own special name rockets and learned some more phase 3 graphemes and tricky words.
