Our Drawing Club book this week was 'The Smeds and the Smoos' and we drew aliens, made alien hats, playdough aliens and lots of other alien craft.  In Learning Theme, we talked about different houses that people live in and made houses and maps of where we live and who we live with. On Wednesday, we learned all about Road Safety with some special visitors and Warwick the Bear. 

We began phonics and learned to recognise the graphemes 's', 'a', 't' and the tricky word 'I' as well as practising writing them.  Maths was all about sorting by colour, pattern, shape and into sets. We practised playing 'Snap!' and a matching pairs game. On Friday we always do 'Jigsaw' she with Jigsaw Jenie and did 'Calm Me' time with the chime as well as talking about why we are all 'UNIQUE'.  We also spent lots of time playing with our friends in the classroom and in the Reception Garden.
