We have once again enjoyed a bustling week in Year 1, filled with exciting learning experiences and creative endeavours. A heartfelt thank you to all the parents who attended our "Come and Learn" sessions; your presence greatly enriches our classroom community. We trust that these sessions provided valuable insights into the writing curriculum and the ways we engage our young learners and how Professor Klunk has been keeping us thoroughly engaged with his Great Big Dream Machine. As many of you will know, we explored the enchanting book, The Mist Monster. Through this delightful story, you saw the children craft their own noun phrases to describe their very own monsters. It's been wonderful to witness their creativity and imagination blossom!

Additionally, as if the week wasn’t already eventful enough, we were greeted with a delightful dusting of snow. The children demonstrated remarkable sensibility and enthusiasm, ensuring that everyone made it into school safely while also enjoying the magical winter wonderland.
