It's been another busy week in Year 3. We have continued developing our understanding of place value in numbers to 1000 in maths and have been learning about different word classes in English, including proper nouns and pronouns. 3MW were lucky to have a secondary Science teacher, Richard Etheridge, visit to lead a fun, practical workshop all about chromatography. The other two classes can look forward to this later in the half term. Although it is only September, we also enjoyed doing some Christmas artwork this week in preparation for the Christmas cards that you will have the opportunity to order later in the term. We learnt about the colour wheel and how to mix tints and shades of a colour to create some wonderful winter tree paintings!
