This week, Year 3 are continuing their learning about length and will be moving on to thinking about the perimeter of shapes soon. We have been revisiting the steps towards taking accurate measurements as part of our learning this week. As you can see from our photos, we have been working together to measure larger and longer items in metres and centimetres. We will also be looking at centimetres and millimetres. We have already enjoyed one Come and Learn session this week and it was very exciting for the children to be able to show off the calculation skills they have been developing this year. We are looking forward to the next Come and Learn session on Friday.
