What a term...15 weeks! The children have been amazing for the last few days, and have continued to show an excellent attitude towards their learning. We began preparation for our next learning theme (Groovy Greeks) by learning about Greek pottery in order to create our new topic book covers. The children sketched out different designs and then used a combination of orange paper, black card and black pen to create their own vase. The final outcomes were superb! We had hoped to finish off our Geography unit by completing an orienteering task in St Nicholas Park, but unfortunately the weather prevented this - we will try again in the spring term. We finished the week off with our year group party, which consisted of biscuit decorating, snow ball fights and plenty of food - Merry Christmas from Year 4!
