After some thin, windy roads, we arrived at Blackwell and were greeted by Katie and the other instructors. Afternoon activities included abseiling, archery and ‘High All Aboard’. The evening activity involved rocket building and orienteering. However, the highlight of the day may have been the dinner (or pudding), if you go by the verdict of one child - ‘…the best waffle in the world’. The children have had a great first day and are now all settled in their pods.
