Our School Day
The School Day
Reception, Year 1 and 2 have a shorter school day than juniors (Years 3, 4, 5 and 6).
The times of sessions for both groups are:
Reception
8.55 - 11.45am 11.45am - 12.45pm 12.45 - 3.10pm
6 hours 15 minutes daily = 31 hours 15 minutes per week
Year 1 & 2
8.55 - 12.00 pm 12.00 pm - 1.00 pm 1.00 - 3.10pm
6 hours 15 minutes daily = 31 hours 15 minutes per week
Key Stage 2
8.55 - 12.20 p.m. 12.20 - 1.20 p.m. 1.20 - 3.20pm
6 hours 25 minutes daily = 32 hours 5 minutes per week
Children are welcome to come into school from 8.45 am. Please do not send children to school before this time as we cannot accept responsibility for them. They also need to be collected promptly at the end of the day. Once children are handed over at the end of the school day they become the parents' responsibility. In the interests of safety, please make sure we know who will be collecting your child at the end of the day. Children should not use the play equipment outside of school time for health and safety reasons.
