It has been really lovely to welcome the children back to school this week, ready for the new term. They came in full of enthusiasm, clearly well rested after the Christmas break.

We started our new topic, Viva Espana and the children enjoyed sharing any knowledge they had about Spain.

In Geography, we started to look at locating other countries in Europe using an Atlas. There was lots of great chat about where countries were, the capital cities and the different sizes of all the countries. In English we are looking at the present perfect tense, ready to write postcards next week.

In Maths, we have started looking at time and telling time to 5 minute intervals.
