Handwriting is a key part of the writing process. Legible writing is important both in year 6 and throughout secondary school, allowing children to fully express their intended meaning. 

In school, we will be teaching handwriting regularly to ensure fluency and legibility. 

Regular practice at home will be beneficial. You can support your children with their handwriting using the Letter-join website. Log-in details will be sent home.
