Homework 01.10.26 - Due back Monday 5th October

Maths - is a pdf of a maths activity for the week. We have been looking at place value within 3-digit numbers. On the sheet are some numbers that need partitioning into hundreds, tens and ones. Please write the answers into your homework book and then bring the book back to school on Monday. 

Reading - your class will be assigned a book to read through myON. This can be accessed by following the link on the side of the page. 

Your child's username and password are the same that they use for accessing accelerated reader in school. Once they have accessed the website - they need to follow the link for myON not for AR. 

Please also log any home reading in their reading diaries. This should be done at least three times a week. 

Spelling - this week we have been looking at words where a short /i/ sound is spelled with a y as in words like myth, mystery and pyramid. We have been practising these spellings in class and will continue to do some work with these words in the next week.
