Calculation Methods

Our teaching of Maths follows a practical - pictorial - abstract structure.

We introduce the four operations, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, first using hands-on resources, such as dienes. When children master the use of manipulatives, they are then ready to move on to pictorial methods.
