Please support your child in learning the spellings below ready for a spelling test on Monday 21st September. Spelling tests will be every Monday from next week.
You could try writing them out, putting them on post-it notes around the house to find, magnetic letters or even forming the words out of Play-doh. Please use the small yellow Spelling Book to practise in, which came home with your child today. This book is to stay at home and not be returned to school. New spellings will be on the website each Thursday.
Following their spelling test on a Monday, a slip of paper will come home with your child indicating which words they got correct and which need further practice.
Details of an online tool to help your child with their spellings, 'Spelling Shed' can be found on the cover of their yellow Spelling Book. Teachers will monitor the use of Spelling Shed, so please let us know if you need any further information. The spellings for each test will be added to Spelling Shed every Thursday.
